The Monthly Loyalty Collection began years ago to help offset many of the maintenance and upkeep costs associated with the Cathedral’s buildings and grounds, which date back to 1869. These include the Cathedral Church, the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, the Rectory, the Library and the entire lot of land stretching from Pine Street to Union Street. For years, parishioners have given to the Monthly Loyalty Collection every first Sunday of the month, in addition to their weekly offering.
The name and the concept have changed only slightly, so rather than identifying it by a collection it is now connected to you, the contributor. The goal is to invite as many parishioners and non-parishioners as possible to commit to being a Contributor to the Cathedral by giving (by envelope or online) every first Sunday of the month. A Monthly Loyalty Contributor to the Cathedral personally commits to support the cathedral with an amount that they determine through thought and prayer.
Please consider becoming a Monthly Loyalty Contributor. Please prayerfully consider your monthly contribution to help the Cathedral Parish maintain and upkeep its buildings and grounds. Please commit to making your contribution each first Sunday of the Month, and please pray for the continued spiritual growth and strength of the parish.
