More often than not, I get "stuck" on a word from the Scriptures read at Mass. Today it was the word "allure" from Hosea.

There have been times that I have felt "allured" by God--moments when the Lord brought me to places I wasn't sure I wanted to go. The interesting thing is that as much as I fought Him, He always leads me to places that bring greater peace, greater joy.

He's a subtle One, this God of ours. He is alluring; He is loving; He is always present. For this, I choose to follow Him.
