Louise Welsch has been the Cathedral parish secretary since the staff reconfiguration in 2006.

Louise is married to Rick Welsch. Rick and Louise have three children. They have been parishioners at the Cathedral since 1993.

The Welsch family has been heavily involved in the life of the parish, including serving on the Pastoral Council, Saint Anne Guild, Men's Society and altar servers. At present, Louise is the chair of the Cathedral Respect Life Committee and coordinates the Preschool Bible Stories group.
