The Parish Nurse ministry is a collaborative effort between Saint Joseph Cathedral and Catholic Medical Center. With a registered nurse on staff, we have the ability to offer regular blood pressure screening, consultations on medication, explanations of medical conditions and treatments, health education for our students in the religious education program to reflect the teachings of the Catholic Church, home visits based on individual circumstances, as well as outreach to the sick or homebound through the Comfort Shawl ministry.
