The Comfort Shawl Ministry combines the love of knitting and crocheting into a prayerful work that reaches out to those in need of comfort at times of loss and illness.

The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Rectory Conference Room. Each shawl is knitted as the members join in praying for those who will receive the shawls.

These shawls are shared with members of the parish, family members and friends of parishioners, or those who request them.

During the summer, the members knit hats and mittens for those who receive assistance from the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
