Candidates for Confirmation must be at least in Grade 10 and must complete a program of preparation that includes religious education, service, and a retreat experience.

Adult Confirmation

Adult Catholics (ages 18 and older) who have been baptized, received First Eucharist and are practicing their faith but have not celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation  may particpate in classes to prepare for confirmation.  The classes offered for parishes in  Manchester and the surrounding  area are usually held during Lent. The prepared candidates are then confirmed by the Bishop at one Mass scheduled in the spring.
