In correspondence to the Pastoral Plan for Adult Faith Formation of the U.S. Catholic Bishops, the Cathedral parish is committed to adult faith formation as the heart of our catechetical vision and practice. We seek to help adults consciously grow in the life of Christ through experience, reflection, prayer and study. We seek to do this specifically in a whole church approach to faith formation for all ages through a program called Generations of Faith. We view our whole parish as a learning community and develop curriculum for all ages around the events in our life as a faith community: the Church Year, the sacraments, liturgy, prayer, justice and service, community life, and proclamation of the Word.
